So this has been on my lips for a while now. The other night, the chorus, “You are worthy, worthy Lord” was a thread in every a dream that I had that night. Either I was thinking or singing it, or someone in the dream was just singing it. It was awesome to awake up with a song in my heart. (Strange sounding, I know).<3 I pray you are encouraged as I always am by Paul’s words to Timothy and to the Church at Philippi. He is worthy of glorious praise, regardless of our circumstances, heartaches and weaknesses.
drink offering
Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain. Even if I am to be poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. Likewise you also should be glad and rejoice with me. [Philippians 2:14-18]
But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. From now on the crown of righteousness is laid up for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but to all who crave His appearing.[ 2 Timothy 4:5-8]

  1. How beautiful! I don’t think it’s strange at all. I have heard/sang songs in my dreams a few times that sounded more beautiful than any songs I’ve ever heard, but I always forget the song and melody though. 😜 I think it is such a precious thing that God would speak to us in/through our dreams. What a beautiful thing that you awoke with a song in your mouth! When I read this I thought of Psalm 40:3. “He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD.”
